We offer the only Type 1 Diabetes Camp in Southeastern Ohio so that children and adolescents living with Type 1 Diabetes can connect with peers, learn important diabetes management skills, 祝你们玩得开心! Your child will grow their confidence in managing their diabetes and in themselves.

The 糖尿病研究所 provides diabetes education and prevention programs to individuals with or at risk for diabetes with a focus on improving access to these services. These programs provide ongoing support and equip people with tools they need to prevent or manage diabetes.

Our diabetes nurse navigator works with youth and adult clients who have type 1 or type 2 diabetes to help overcome health system barriers by offering individualized, patient-centered care coordination, 社会支持, and assistance to clients and families.

Special events are held to help build peer support and connection among youth reached by the diabetes navigator and our diabetes camp. These in-person opportunities help to reinforce these connections throughout the year.
Our team includes a Certified Diabetes Care and 教育专家 and Registered Nurses who possesses comprehensive knowledge and experience in diabetes management, 前驱糖尿病, and diabetes prevention.
